Oncor also awards incentives through the participation of service providers in your area, which compensates the initial cost of the clients.
Houston
The average cost of a PV system in Houston in 2021 is $2.55 per watt. Based on the common 6 kW system, this represents $15,300 before initiatives. In addition to ITC, Reliant, TXU, Amigo Energy and Green Mountain Power all provide net metering credits for extra solar energy generated and posted to the grid.
